THE SEA,
IS ALSO THE TERRITORY.

For a territorial group like ours, which has strong roots along the coast, in Brittany and New Aquitaine, investment in sailing seems obvious. Our sports sponsorship policy, supported by our federations and subsidiaries, is an integral part of our corporate strategy. We have thus structured our maritime sector in order to better support, over the long term, all players in the maritime economy. Crédit Mutuel Arkéa intends to position itself as a facilitator of local and regional ecosystems to promote the responsible blue economy.

JULIEN CARMONA, CHAIRMAN OF CRÉDIT MUTUEL ARKÉA

The race of superlatives

The Arkéa Ultim Challenge Brest is the most extreme challenge ever undertaken in the world: an offshore race in Ultim, solo, non-stop, and unassisted!

Six "Giants of the Seas" set sail from Brest, each with a skipper attempting to complete a west-to-east circumnavigation via the three capes (Good Hope, Leeuwin, and Horn). This human and technological challenge is undertaken by the sailors of the Ultim 32/23 Class, supported by their shipowners and partners.

ARKÉA, THE CONTINUATION OF A HISTORICAL COMMITMENT TO OFFSHORE RACING

Arkéa is committed to supporting local stakeholders and the real economy to support events at the heart of its territories. It was therefore important to accompany, through this partnership, the launch of a new major sporting event that promises to bring Brest and the entire region to the forefront.
