The race of superlatives
The Arkéa Ultim Challenge Brest is the most extreme challenge ever undertaken in the world: an offshore race in Ultim, solo, non-stop, and unassisted!
Five "Giants of the Seas" will set sail from Brest, each with a skipper attempting to complete a round-the-world journey from West to East, passing through the three capes (Cape of Good Hope, Cape Leeuwin, and Cape Horn). This is a human and technological challenge led by the sailors of the Ultim 32/23 Class, accompanied by their shipowners and partners.
As a major player in sports sponsorship, already involved for several years in offshore racing, Arkéa has committed, on behalf of all the subsidiaries of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa banking and insurance group, as the title partner for the next two editions of this first solo Ultim round-the-world race organized by OC Sport Pen Duick.
