Crédit Mutuel Arkéa announces the acquisition of a minority stake in Kyaneos, reinforcing its commitment to energy renovation in the residential property sector

Crédit Mutuel Arkéa is a cooperative and regional bank which, through its raison d'être and its commitments as a company with a mission, aims to support local economic players over the long term in their environmental and social transition.The acquisition of a stake in Kyaneos AM and Kyaneos Gestion bears witness to this commitment.

These two entities, majority-owned by their founder and CEO Jérémie Rouzaud, are complementary:

• Kyaneos AM, created in 2018 and approved by the AMF, manages SCPIs and OPCIs invested in residential properties. Its strategy is based on renovating older buildings. Since its creation, Kyaneos has renovated more than 3,000 throughout France.
• Kyaneos Gestion, founded in 2021, is responsible for the rental management of properties 
  owned by Kyaneos AM.

By acquiring a minority stake in these two companies, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa aims to strengthen its contribution to the development of energy-efficient renovation of residential buildings in the regions. This transaction is in line with the priorities of its property business. Launched in September 2023, the business line has three strategic priorities, all of which are designed to promote responsible and protective property development in the regions:

1. Supporting home ownership and contributing to the production of affordable housing
2. Accelerating energy and environmental transitions to help consume fewer resources
3. Contributing to the vitality of local areas by supporting businesses and institutions in their property projects
