The President is the legal representative of the local bank. It is a role that requires curiosity, analytical and understanding abilities, and the ability to relay information. The President is elected by secret ballot among the administrators of the local bank. Elected for a term of 3 years at Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne and 2 years at Crédit Mutuel du Sud-Ouest, the President is the primary representative of the members of the local Credit Mutuel bank.
In this capacity:
They lead the branch council, organize the work, and ensure its follow-up. They must make every effort to engage and motivate the members of their council through the information they provide, the responsibilities they entrust, and the attentiveness they demonstrate.
They ensure compliance with budgets under the responsibility of the Board of Directors.
They ensure the proper representation of members within their council and play a major role in recruiting new administrators wishing to participate in the governance of the local branch.
They represent and voice the concerns of the members of the local branch during the annual general meeting of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa.
