Arkéa the subsidiary dedicated to sponsorship and partnerships

A major player in the world of sailing, Arkéa gave its name to the first solo, unassisted Ultim ocean race: the ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE - Brest. The company is also supporting the IMOCA Paprec-Arkéa in its Vendée Globe 2024 project. For many years, Arkéa has supported professional cycling teams with Arkéa-B&B Hôtels, and rugby teams with Union Bordeaux-Bègles in the Top 14 and Rugby Club de Vannes in the Pro D2. On the cultural front, Arkéa lends its name to the Bordeaux Métropole Arena, which hosts numerous national and international shows and major sporting events. Humility and perseverance, team spirit, boldness and ambition are all qualities that Arkéa promotes through its sponsorship initiatives. These cooperative and collaborative values are consistent with those upheld by Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, in its day-to-day activities to help finance the real economy, local communities and their stakeholders.

Cycling

Arkéa is the title sponsor of the professional cycling team Arkéa-B&B Hotels which evolves in World Tour. Arkéa succeeds Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, which took over from the Fortuneo subsidiary. The team, with strong Breton ties, continues to progress in the professional peloton and shares with the group the spirit of entrepreneurship while working in the long term with a training component to promote the emergence of future talents. Since January 2024, the new Arkéa-B&B Hotels team has been created with a two-season contract. A new page will open with a strong ambition to support development through the creation of a continental team.

Yoann Richomme, double winner of the Solitaire du Figaro in 2016 and 2019 was chosen to be the skipper of the new IMOCA Paprec-Arkéa. He is also part of the very closed circle of double winners of the Route du Rhum, 2018 and 2022 (Paprec Arkéa). Built in 2022, the new IMOCA Paprec Arkéa was launched at the beginning of 2023 with the ambition of «being the most efficient possible in the next Vendée Globe». Through this common approach, Paprec and Arkéa wish to build a sustainable and committed project around the values of performance and innovation.
