These solidarity initiatives complement the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa Endowment Fund, which has been operational since January 2024.
Multiple initiatives
Initiated in 1984, these programs have been managed directly by the local branches of Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne and Crédit Mutuel du Sud-Ouest since late 2018.

All these actions, implemented through the mobilization and involvement of 2,800 volunteer administrators and the commitment of teams in the field, share a common goal: to improve the living conditions of residents in the areas covered by the networks of Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne and Sud-Ouest.
Our initiatives revolve around three main axes: employment, assistance to families, and support for associations.
Our Actions in Support of Employment
The local branches of Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne and Sud-Ouest support entrepreneurs and business owners through financial aid and additional non-financial support. The group also offers personal micro-credits to facilitate the reintegration or return to work of individuals facing financial difficulties. In the interest of promoting job creation, the group is the historical partner of the Association for the Right to Economic Initiative (Adie), aiming to finance micro-business projects led by individuals excluded from the traditional banking system.
Assistance to Families
We have established a set of complementary aids to support and assist individual clients and members in various life situations. This includes assistance to struggling borrowers and personal micro-credits, which, under certain conditions, finance family equipment. In both cases, in addition to the financial aid provided, a particular emphasis is placed on budgetary education and financial literacy. This ambition is also prevalent when working with members to find solutions to occasional or recurring difficulties.
Our Support for Associations
In addition to their specific banking offerings, the federations of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group maintain close relationships with associations in their territories. Through partnership agreements and various forms of support, they provide means for associations to carry out their missions and grow. This support includes financial assistance for investment and job creation, personal micro-credits, computer donations, and support for charitable organizations.
