Arkéa Capital and SWEN Capital Partners invest in JL&P
14/03/2024
Arkéa Capital and SWEN Capital Partners have announced their entry into the capital of the JL&P group, an engineering platform specialized in new mobilities, energy infrastructure deployment, water management, and the environment.
Founded in 2017 and based in Floirac (33), the JL&P group currently has 50 employees, mainly engineers and architects, and has 5 agencies covering the national territory (Bordeaux, Versailles, Lyon, Fréjus, Nantes).
JL&P is one of the leaders in the design and construction assistance of multi-energy mobility infrastructures. It offers a turnkey solution to create, modernize, or convert traditional gas stations into multi-energy hubs, deploy all refueling and energy charging infrastructures for mobility, and promote the development of decarbonized mobility. Its mastery of regulations both on public installations (highways, roads, peri-urban areas, shopping centers) and on heavy infrastructures (ports, airports, train stations, industries, logistics and transport platforms, etc.) opens up numerous new markets.
In recent years, the Group has also expanded its activity by offering its clients water management engineering services and environmental management.
Yannick Verchère, Director of Investments at Arkéa Capital, and Diego Aponte, Managing Director at SWEN Capital Partners, are pleased: "This transaction fully aligns with the investment theses of Arkéa Capital and SWEN Capital Partners. It represents an investment alongside an ambitious entrepreneur, Jonathan Leroy, in a fast-growing, profitable company with a unique positioning in its market and a desire to accelerate in environmental transition. We are already actively working with Jonathan Leroy to provide him with our expertise, particularly in business structuring, external growth operations, and CSR challenges, in order to make JL&P a French engineering leader."
