Crédit Mutuel Arkéa and French Tech Brest Bretagne Ouest formalize partnership to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in western Brittany
03/04/2024
Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, a cooperative banking group and company with a mission, and La French Tech Brest Bretagne Ouest (French Tech BBO), a structure committed to the creation and development of start-ups, announce the signing of a partnership in favor of innovation serving transitions and a more inclusive and diversified tech ecosystem. This signature reinforces the historic links between the two entities, and gives concrete expression to the joint actions already implemented for the region's entrepreneurial fabric.
Since 2015 and the support given to the first "French Tech" label for the Brittany West region, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa and French Tech BBO have been cooperating to support the local start-up ecosystem and foster its vitality. West Brittany is a particularly active network, with committed project leaders, high-quality schools, recognized support structures, local authorities committed to entrepreneurship and industries open to open innovation. Crédit Mutuel Arkéa and French Tech BBO are pooling their skills and networks to develop and promote the region's many creative and innovative assets.
The collaboration between Crédit Mutuel Arkéa and French Tech BBO has been strengthened by the signing of a global partnership to meet the needs of entrepreneurs and project leaders. The aim is to support the dynamics deployed on the ground around two priorities: innovation at the service of transitions and commitment to a more inclusive and diversified tech ecosystem.
This takes the form of:
● providing expert resources (project coaching on Ouest Startups) ;
● work on the attractiveness of the region and talent retention (contribution to the Job Connect initiative);
● support for the development of virtuous innovations (Solutions4Good mentoring);
● mobilization for better representation of women in the technology sector (feedback on Femmes et Numérique);
● a contribution by in-house experts to the challenges of artificial intelligence (AI Days 5) and responsible digital technology (Impact Day).
Anchored in the real economy, these areas of work aim to support the region's economic, ecological and technological transitions, while capitalizing, on the one hand, on Crédit Mutuel Arkéa's innovation and agility, and on the other, on the groundwork laid by La French Tech BBO, which promotes and creates an ecosystem of startups involving SMEs, ETIs, public players and students.
"This partnership allows us to go one step further in our support for entrepreneurs, offering them privileged access to resources and a network of experts. It testifies to our shared desire to promote a more inclusive and diverse technology, by working together to create an environment where every talent can flourish and contribute fully to innovation and growth."
