On June 30, 2025, Arkéa Immobilier Conseil (AIC), a subsidiary specializing in the selection of real estate programs and SCPI, celebrated its 50th anniversary at the summer pavilion of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa campus in Relecq-Kerhuon. This event not only promoted AIC and its expertise but also gathered internal and external partners, developers, clients, and key stakeholders in the sector around two conferences focused on the future of real estate.

Reflections on the Future of Real Estate

The event highlighted the 50 years of Arkéa Immobilier Conseil, a subsidiary that selects real estate programs for the purchase of primary residences, secondary homes, and investment properties. Since its inception, AIC has been at the forefront of real estate market trends, offering solutions tailored to the diverse needs of its clients, whether they are individuals, investors, or developers.

On this occasion, AIC organized two conferences on the theme “Retrospective and Prospective: The Real Estate of Tomorrow.” This is a crucial issue for Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, for whom real estate represents one of the primary markets, especially since this sector addresses a fundamental need of our clients and members: housing. Julien Carmona, President of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, emphasized during the event: “Our Group has a shared destiny with the entire real estate sector.” In a complex context for the sector, this event served to reaffirm Crédit Mutuel Arkéa's commitment as a cooperative territorial bank, through its subsidiaries like AIC, to the entire real estate value chain.

Open Doors and Conferences

The 50th anniversary of AIC unfolded in two parts: first, an open house at the summer pavilion of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa campus allowed invited employees to discover the behind-the-scenes of the company, participate in interactive games, and enjoy a temporary exhibition by Brest photographer Matthieu Venot. The latter also created a commemorative postcard handed out to all participants.

Next, nearly 150 guests attended two conferences on the real estate of tomorrow. Led by Nathalie Fabre, a collaborator at AIC, the first round table explored the transformations in the real estate sector. The speakers, Nolwenn Kermarrec (President of Kermarrec Promotion and President of the Federation of Real Estate Promoters of Brittany), Julie Puech from Arkéa REIM, and William Rémy from Arkéa Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels, discussed the impacts of the health crisis on real estate usage and the environmental challenges to consider. This discussion highlighted the new expectations of consumers and the importance of a sustainable approach in the real estate sector.

The second round table focused on emerging models in real estate, with participation from Christelle Allain (Deputy Departmental Director of Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne 56), Florent Fauconnier (Founder of Groupe Maciflore, a real estate promoter specializing in renovation), and Steve Ho Koo Kine (Head of the Real Estate Division at Crédit Mutuel Arkéa). This discussion emphasized the need to rethink economic models in the face of housing challenges, with a focus on sustainability and flexibility. The speakers agreed that the real estate of tomorrow must integrate innovative solutions to meet the growing need for affordable housing while fostering close collaborations among sector stakeholders.

Florent Fauconnier highlighted the importance of long-term ownership and the rehabilitation of spaces, stressing the need for an adapted territorial approach. Christelle Allain also underscored the key role of local authorities in addressing housing issues and the close support provided by the Group to its members on this theme. During his speech, Julien Carmona also recalled the innovations made by the Group in real estate financing, notably the DuoPrimo solution.

The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Real Estate

To conclude these discussions, Cyril de Sousa Cardoso from the consulting firm Polaria presented a focus on artificial intelligence in the real estate sector. He demonstrated how AI can transform the industry by optimizing property management, improving services offered to clients, and predicting market trends. The discussions also addressed the integration of digital technologies to enhance the client experience and transparency of real estate transactions.

A Solidarity and Promising Future

After enriching discussions on the future of the real estate sector, AIC also gave a voice to the Habitat and Humanisme Finistère Association, which it sponsors. This association works in favor of housing and the integration of people in precarious situations, as well as the creation of social ties.

All partners were finally able to celebrate the 50th anniversary with a cocktail gathering partners, clients, and representatives of the Group, such as Julien Carmona, Hélène Bernicot (General Director), Thomas Guyot (Member of the Executive Committee), and Yannick Louarn (General Director of AIC). Arkéa Immobilier Conseil, along with all of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, remains committed to continuing its dedication to a sustainable and responsible real estate sector, innovating to meet the expectations of its clients and the new challenges of the real estate market.
