Crédit Mutuel Arkéa at France Digitale Day 2025
18/09/2025
The France Digitale Day (FDDay), held on September 17, 2025, at the Musée des Arts Forains in Paris, is a flagship event of the European digital ecosystem. Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, a historical partner since 2012, participated in this latest edition, which gathered more than 4,000 participants, including startups, investors, and public decision-makers.
Like every year, the FDDay serves as the ideal platform to discuss the latest trends in digital technology. As a historical partner, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa was present with various representatives from its departments and subsidiaries to establish strategic connections and share innovative ideas.
The Group reaffirmed its commitment alongside startups, investors, and public decision-makers to build a sovereign and competitive technological Europe around three key areas:
- Strengthened European preference in public procurement;
- Mobilized private savings for the real economy;
- A harmonized European law to facilitate market access.
The partnership between Crédit Mutuel Arkéa and France Digitale reflects a shared commitment to responsible innovation, aligning with the actions taken by the Group as a cooperative bank, a local entity, and especially as a mission-driven company.
Speech on the Blue Economy
Sophie Coulon-Renouvel, Director of External Growth, Strategic Partnerships, and Digital at Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, spoke at the FDDay during a conference titled "Blue Economy: does innovation sink or swim for the Ocean?" This intervention, consistent with Crédit Mutuel Arkéa's maritime sector, highlighted the financing challenges of the blue economy, emphasizing the importance of innovation to preserve our oceans while promoting economic growth. This topic has become even more critical with the upcoming United Nations Ocean Conference in 2025, reinforcing the role of startups and investors in promoting a sustainable blue economy.
Publication of the 2025 Barometer from France Digitale
Finally, the FDDay was also an opportunity to unveil the 2025 barometer on the economic and social performance of French startups, produced by France Digitale and EY.
Here are the main findings:
- Growth continues but slows down: +1,200 startups and 50,000 jobs created in one year;
- Funding has significantly decreased: €2.8 billion raised in the first half of 2025, a 35% drop compared to 2024;
- An uncertain political and geopolitical context weighs on the ecosystem, but innovation and resilience remain present.
Crédit Mutuel Arkéa is proud to have once again contributed to this event, strengthening its ties with digital actors and its commitment to a sovereign and competitive technological Europe. The stated ambition is to create a bold, connected, and sustainable future—driven by innovation and territorial commitment.
