Banking and insurance services within everyone's reach
Crédit Mutuel Arkéa has long provided locally based banking and insurance services to individuals, sole proprietorships (trades people, merchants, professionals) and companies generating less than €10 million in annual revenue.
At a time when the accessibility of services is a strong consumer trend, Arkéa has made it a central focus of its development strategy. The first bank to offer its services on the Internet (1995) and to have developed an application for smartphones (iPhone application in 2009), the group launched Fortuneo Banque in 2009. With the acquisition of Keytrade Bank, the group is already among the leaders in online banking in Europe.
In 2015, the acquisition of Leetchi, which designs online payment solutions for individuals and businesses, and Pumpkin in 2017, whose application facilitates repayments between relatives, further strengthens Arkéa's presence in the digital and online finance world.
The group also benefits from complementary expertise with Financo for consumer credit at the point of sale and CFCAL (Crédit Foncier et Communal d'Alsace et de Lorraine) in the area of credit consolidation.
