Founded in 1872, CFCAL celebrated its 150th anniversary in February 2022. A subsidiary of Crédit Mutuel Arkéa since 2010, CFCAL employs over 200 individuals across three locations: Strasbourg (headquarters), Paris La Défense, and Brussels (a branch opened in April 2018 with the aim of enhancing CFCAL's operational capacity in Belgium).
As a true expert, CFCAL is a major player in the fields of both mortgage and non-mortgage loan consolidation, as well as real estate loans. Its expertise is owed to its employees and a network of partners consisting of 450 independent intermediaries (IOBSP) distributed throughout France. This collaboration ensures a genuine proximity and daily follow-up with clients, a commitment to customer satisfaction being paramount for CFCAL.

Since 2019, CFCAL has also offered the BANK AS A SERVICE BY ARKEA, aimed at professional entities looking to provide financial services, particularly payment and payment account services, to their clientele. This payment account activity combines the various skills and knowledge of the group's subsidiaries alongside MONEXT and NEXTALK. This division of roles enables professionals to act as distributors of the offering, focusing on their expertise and client relationships, limiting IT and technical investments, and optimizing time to market. The service is provided by a fully licensed credit institution, ensuring high standards of security and compliance.
