Crédit Mutuel Arkéa signs an ambitious new agreement on professional equality

2024/12/19 - Crédit Mutuel Arkéa is proud to announce the signing, unanimously with the five trade union organizations, of its new agreement on professional equality between women and men, for the scope of the 'UES Arkade. This seventh agreement, which will take effect on January 1, 2025 for a period of three years, is part of a virtuous approach, consolidating the achievements of previous agreements while integrating new systems, in line with employee expectations and societal developments

In line with the group's status as a company with a mission and its inclusion strategy, the new agreement on professional equality between women and men pursues a clear ambition: to enable each employee to fully flourish in their environment. work, whatever their personal situation. Based on the progress made since the launch of the Gender Diversity mission in 2015, it strengthens existing systems and introduces new measures adapted to the expectations of employees and the evolution of society.
The new agreement is structured around three main axes:
- Professional equality: Promote diverse career paths, encourage balanced representation between women and men at all levels of the organization, and raise awareness among recruitment stakeholders to guarantee inclusive practices.
- Equal pay: Reduce salary gaps for comparable situations, with measurable objectives for each level of employment, thanks to a dedicated budget envelope.
- Balance of life and protection of employees: Strengthen the connection between the professional and personal lives of employees, particularly around the following themes:
- parenthood: facilitating access to teleworking during pregnancy, taking into account travel times abroad as part of PMA courses, beyond the support provided by the legislator, awareness of taking second leave parent, beyond the legislative framework.
- female inclusion: develop female inclusion around issues relating to women's health (PMA, gynecological pathologies, termination of pregnancy, menopause, etc.) by facilitating the organization of work.
- intra-family violence: payment of overnight stays in a hotel for employee victims.
- diversity: fight against all forms of discrimination, support gender transitions.
- assistance: supporting “helping” employees through different mechanisms. and raise awareness among all employees on this subject.
A collective and ambitious trajectory
This new agreement illustrates Crédit Mutuel Arkéa's desire to continue its pioneering role in building an inclusive professional environment, where diversity is a strength. It also meets the expectations of employees, expressed in particular during the diversity diagnosis carried out in fall 2023, which highlighted the importance of these issues for well-being at work and collective performance.
